Minutes of the last (Oct. 2013) meeting
- The minutes of the 2013 bi-annual meeting were read. The minutes were approved as
read with no amendments.
Financial Report
- Field Trial Reports 2013 and 2014
- The field trial financial reports for 2013 and 2014 were presented by Treasurer Greg
Steeves. Greg indicated that the bank balance was $2,857.84. It was moved by Billy
Petrie and seconded by Pauline Pawson that the treasurers report be accepted and
approved. MOTION CARRIED
Election of officers were held the following positions were filled for a two year period
President - Clair Murphy Accepted
Vice President - Dennis Cooke ... Accepted
Sec't Treasurer - Greg Steeves .... Accepted
The Regional Monitors are as follows:
Quebec Region - Dario Manna ... Accepted
Ontario Region - Pauline Pawson .... Accepted

New Business:
Proposals:
1. It is proposed by the Executive of the Canadian Nationals LPH Association that the
association own and operate the Canadian Beagler website. The site will contain all
current and historical Canadian National LPH Association information along with
shedules, results and archive data for all licensed trials in Canada. (This new site was
developed in large part by Pauline Pawson for which we thank her very much)
Motion: It was moved by Barry Fisher, seconded by Greg Steeves to approve the
proposal as presented. MOTION CARRIED
2. It is proposed that the Canadian National LPH Association at each bi-annual meeting
designate a Canadian Beagler website manager, and an alternate to operate and
maintain the site for the following two year period.
Motion: It was moved by Dennis Cook and seconded by George Steeves that Pauline
Pawson remain as Manager of the Canadian Beagler Website and Judy Walsh would be
her alternate for the next two years. MOTION CARRIED
3. It is proposed by the Canadian National LPH Association that all Canadian beagle
clubs be required to pay $20.00 per year, and that the payment be made at or before
the National trial each year.
Note: Pauline asked each club to send her the name and email address for a contact
person for each club.
4. Proposals from the floor.
i. Motion: It was moved by Paul Hickey and seconded by Judy Walsh that the
current Canadian National LPH Associationn policies related to regional qualifying
hounds be amended to reflect that the top five (5) qualifying hounds for each region
not include Field Trial Champions. MOTION CARRIED
ii. Motion: It was moved by Barry Fisher and seconded by Judy Walsh that the
current Canadian National LPH association policies related to regional qualifying
hounds be amended to reflect that dogs that are injured, raising pups or pregnant not
be included on the list of the top five (5) regional qualifying hounds provided that the
owner of the (unavailable) hound contact and advise the Regional Monitor within 48
hours following the publication of the final regional list. It is understood that the next
qualifying hound ont he regional list would move into a top five position. MOTION
CARRIED.
