The semi-Annual meeting of the Canadian National LPH Trial Association was held at
Fundy Trial Beagle Club on Saturday October 22, 2005. President Dan Kane called
meeting to order at 1:15pm.<\/span><\/p>

Atlantic Beagle Club – Dale Bungay<\/span>
Airway Beagle Club – Allan MacInnis<\/span>
Bellevue Beagle Club – Eric May<\/span>
Avalon Beagle Club – David Chafe<\/span>
United Counties Beagle Club – John Monkman<\/span>
Ottawa Beagle Club – Coady MacDonald<\/span>
Oshawa Beagle Club – Chris Pawson<\/span>
York County Beagle Club – Paul Pazienza<\/span>
Quinte Beagle Club – Tim Cassidy<\/span>
P.E.I. Beagle Club – Clair Murphy<\/span><\/p>

The minutes of the 2003 Bi-Annual meeting were read. Motioned by Jim Merritt and<\/span>
seconded by Coady MacDonald to accept the minutes as read …….All in Favour<\/span><\/p>

Financial Report was read by Greg Steeves stating current balance was $2481.16 with<\/span>
two outstanding items 1) $201 cheque to Wildlife materials, 2) $1000 to be paid to top<\/span>
ten winners.<\/span><\/p>

Motioned by Allan MacInnis seconded by Clair Murphy to accept the financial<\/span>
statements as read ….. All in favour<\/span><\/p>

Reading of Correspondence … nothing submitted<\/span><\/p>

Committee reports …. nothing reported<\/span><\/p>

Dan Kane explained the changes to Policy #2,4c, 5 and 8 called for a ratification vote<\/span>
….all accepted by majority vote ……..All Accepted by majority vote.<\/span><\/p>

Vice President: Tom Murphy… Accepted by email<\/span>
Sec\/Treasurer: Greg Steeves … Accepted<\/span>
Newfoundland Rep: nominee Gary Rumsey … Accepted<\/span>
Quebec Rep: nominee Carl Golden … Accepted<\/span>
Ontario Rep: nominee Coady MacDonald<\/span>
Maritime Rep: nominee Clair Murphy …. declined, Eric Stooley… Accepted, Jim Merritt<\/span>
…Accepted,<\/span>
A vote was held between Eric Stooley and Jim Merritt. The results were 8 votes Jim<\/span>
and 6 votes Eric. Jim Merritt declared Maritimes Representative<\/span><\/p>

New Business:<\/span><\/p>

Motioned by John Monkman that the Regional award be reintroduced, seconded by<\/span>
Paul Pazienza … All in favour. After discussion on this, a motion made by Eric May that<\/span>
only hounds regionally qualified and placed at the trial be counted towards the<\/span>
regional award for that year. Seconded by Chris Pawson ….. Passed by majority vote<\/span><\/p>

Jim Merritt made a motion that the responsibility of the Sunday supper would be<\/span>
rotated among the 4 Canadian regions.<\/span><\/p>

2006 …. hosted by Maritimes<\/span>
2007 …. hosted by Quebec<\/span>
2008 …. hosted by Ontario<\/span>
2009 …. hosted by Newfoundland<\/span><\/p>

The Regional director for the hosting region will be responsible for co-ordinating this<\/span>
event those attending from such region. \u00a0Motion passed<\/span><\/p>
