Financial Report was read by Greg Steeves showing a bank balance of $2,677.06 as of
October 26, 2007.

Hall of Fame Inductions: Beaglers are to asked for volunteers to sit on the Hall of fame
Committee.
A letter sent by Terry McBride regarding possibility of this Canadian trial being held as
CKC approved licensed trial was tabled, Motioned by George Steeves and seconded
by Jim Merritt that the trial remain “as is” …. All in favour
Motioned by Terry McBride seconded by Gaetan Bedard that this committee
recommend that a new Grand Field Trial Champion title be created and used by the
CKC. The requirements of this title would be that a hound must acquire double the
points and double the wins currently required to become a FTCH. This recommendation
is to be forwarded to all beagle associations in Canada for their input, and if it was
found to be accepted, that it be then presented to the CKC and published for comment
in Dogs In Canada Official Section …. All in favour
A letter from John Monkman regarding 1/2 day trials and the location of the Canadian
National trial was tabled. Motioned by Jim Bungay and seconded by Gaetan Bedard that
this trial was to be left “as is” with same location, date and format. Vote: 13 for 1 against
…. Accepted
John Lemoine discussed the method of selection of judges for the Canadian National
Trial. Motioned by John Lemoine seconded by Tony Crowley that each zone
representative submit two willing participant’s names from their area, selected by
alphabetical order from the current CKC Canadian Judges list to the trial chairperson.
If a person has been selected for one year, he cannot judge again this trial again, until
all others in that area had been asked in order. Vote: 12 for 0 against … Accepted
Motioned by Terry McBride, seconded by Pauline Pawson that Purina Top Ten Regional
Awards be given on a total point basis by region. Accepted
Motioned by Terry McBride, seconded by Al MacInnis that if a hound is tied for a place
in two or more regions, that it would represent the area it’s owner resides in …
Accepted.
