Greg Steeves read the minutes of the 2007 meeting, Dan Kane Clarified the Way the
Purina Top 10 was calculated for 2009.
Motioned by Judy Walsh seconded by Chris Pawson that the 2007 minutes with the
clarification of the Top 10 be accepted as read………..All in Favour Carried
Financial Report was given by Greg Steeves showing a bank balance of $2,222.45 as of
Oct. 22, 2009
Motioned by George Steeves seconded by Dennis Cooke to accept the financial
statement …..All in Favour
Committee Reports…… No Names submitted for the 2009 Hall of Fame
Election of officers were held for the President, Vice President, and Sec’t Treasurer
The following positions were filled for a two year period
President – Dan Kane
Vice President – Gary Rumsey
Sec’t Treasurer – Greg Steeves
Dan Kane Thanked our Regional Monitors for all their hard work and lead a descussion
on perhaps the monitors could replace directors.
Motioned by Paul Pazienza seconded by Calvin Peddle the Regional Monitors replace
the Regional Directors positions ……….All in favour …. Carried
The Regional Monitors are as follows:
Quebec Region – Jason Schnick
Ontario Region – John Moynihan
Maritime Region – Dennis Cooke
Newfoundland Region – Kevin Pye
New Business:
1. Dan Kane had presented some policy changes for the Hall of Fame. Motioned by
Randy Fillmore seconded by Coady MacDonald to accept the policy change for the Hall
of Fame ….All in favour…..Carried
Motioned by Gary Rumsey seconded by Randy Fillmore to disregard the motion in the
2007 minutes made by Terry McBride regarding hounds tied for points in two regions
as we have a policy to cover this… All in favour …Carried
2. Selection of Judges for the Canadian National Trail
After a long discussion on how the judges were to be selected for the trial the
following motions were made
Motioned by Randy Fillmore second by Greg Steeves that each Canadian Large Pack
Club submit a list of five Canadian Judges Bi-Annually to the Canadian National Field
Trial Chairman for selection to Judge Canadian National LPH Trial.
9 for 3 against …..Carried
Motioned by Greg Steeves seconded by Chris Pawson to Rescind the Alphabetic
Selection of the Judges system
9 for 3 against ….Carried
3. Discussion was held on possible relocation of the Canadian National LPH Trial.
Motioned by George Steeves seconded by Gary Rumsey for a vote on possible
relocation of the trial if all criteria is met to the satisfaction of the Canadian Nation LPH
Association
Vote was 9 for 3 against….. Carried
Motioned by Gary Rumsey Seconded by Chris Pawson to adjourn the meeting. All in
