Kevin Pye brought up the question of whether there was any consideration given to moving the National to another host club. It was noted that the Fundy Trail Beagle Club was originally selected as the permanent site for the trial because of its central location relative to our member clubs from Ontario to Newfoundland and Labrador and all points in between. Eighteen of the last 20 trials have been held at Fundy Trail with great success.
Concern was raised about the apparent lack of game in the Fundy Club pens. Fundy members made a commitment to make every effort to improve the game population for the next trial in 2023.
It was approved on a motion by Skip Griffin, seconded by Glen Gulliver that the National trial would remain at Fundy Trail for 2023. Motion Carried.
